Attitude of Gratitude- From Yang Spirit Yoga

This is an amazing area of growth in my life. How I choose to look at the world and the challenges that I am presented with can often be a struggle. However I have found a tool to use in this arena. This tool is to simply be grateful. In my experience having an attitude of gratitude leads to grace and humility both of which dis-charge the ego. Releasing the ego and not being controlled by it is a huge part of my yoga practice, even though it is not on the mat. Being thankful for ones challenges, set backs or misfortunes has a direct impact on the outcome. Be thankful that you have an opportunity to shine, an opening to grow, a stage for your true inner strength and heart wisdom to blossom in front of others! Transformation comes through adversity and with out it we would remain the same. So, I say be thankful in the toughest of times and see where it can take you.

I am sharing this because I am at a time of adversity, life has shaken my foundation like an ant farm. I am extremely grateful for those who constantly show me I am not alone, for those who hold space and those who know that I have the strength to persevere. Even when I don’t. To my wife, Thank You! To my family, Thank You. To my teachers, Thank You. A very deep Thank You for reading and sharing this.
